After suffering a back injury that ended his athletic career, he transferred to Boston College and completed a degree in accountancy with honors. He later continued his education through investment studies at Columbia University, including participation in the Graduate School of Business Executive Value Investing Program under Professor Bruce Greenwald. In addition, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation through the CFA Institute.
